The Berea College Softball Field (2005) is located at the Sports Complex and is home to Mountaineer softball. Field dimensions are 190' down the left field line, 190' down the right field line and 210' to center field. The infield surface is a mixture of sand, clay and silt; the outfield grass is a fescue blend. A warning track extends around the entire field. The facility features an underground dugout design and a Musco lighting system for evening practices and play. A Rain Bird irrigation system allows our grounds crew to maintain the field in great playing condition throughout the season. During inclement weather, a full-infield tarp is available. In accordance with NCAA legislation, padding was installed over the brick backstop prior to the 2016 spring season. In the summer of 2016 locker rooms for home and visiting teams, a changing space for umpires and a satellite training room were added.

From I-75, take the south Berea exit (exit 76) and make a right off the ramp onto 25 North. Get in the left lane and continue 1.5 miles until the 5th light where you will turn left onto Ellipse Street. Continue down Ellipse for half a mile and then turn left into the parking lot at the Berea Sports Complex.
