The sophomore guard from Whitesburg, Kentucky averaged a double-double of 21.5 points and 12.5 rebounds to go along with 4.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game as the Mountaineers posted a 1-1 record last week versus USA South competition. In a 67-62 loss to Maryville, Carter notched a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds to go along with five steals and two assists. In an 83-82, overtime, win over Piedmont, Carter posted a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four steals, three assists and one block. Additionally, Carter scored Berea's final six points in overtime, including hitting a free throw with three seconds remaining, to give his team the victory.
