Berea, KY,-

Berea College senior Isaac Caudill wraps up his first season as a Mountaineer by being named the Men's South Region Rookie of the Year by D3HOOPS.com.

This marks the second Rookie of the Year award for Caudill as he earned the USA South Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year for the 2018-19 season.

Additionally, this is the first time in program history a player made a D3HOOPS.com all region team.

Caudill had a breakout season in his first year as a Mountaineer. He averaged 18.2 points per game, grabbed 5.9 rebounds per game, and led the team in free throw percentage shooting 81.3%. The Blacky, KY., native also registered 33 steals and 45 assists.

Players are nominated for D3HOOPS.com All Region awards by the Sports Information Directors at various schools, who were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. There were 716 players nominated nationwide. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region.

It's the 18th season D3HOOPS.com has named All-Region teams.
