Berea College Athletics Department is excited to announce the promotion of Mariah E. Stuart. Stuart will now be the Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator/Head Athletic Trainer.

Stuart, a native of Colville, WA, joined Berea College after graduating from Eastern New Mexico University on May 2017 after spending two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer while attaining her Masters in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Administration. She worked with the volleyball and track and field teams at ENMU. Stuart received her Bachelors in Athletic Training at Fort Lewis College while playing softball for the Skyhawks. 

“I am very honored to have this opportunity early in my career. Thanks to my mentor Sandy Williams I feel like I can hit the ground running. I really look forward to being able to continue to work closely with the Berea College student athletes and staff.”

Mariah resides in Berea with her fiancé Shawn, dog Rue and Cat Nelly. Hobbies include hiking, biking, traveling, baking, and watching Seahawks Football.
