Berea, KY- The men's basketball team welcomed Johnson University to the Seabury Center for
their Homecoming game of the 2017-18 season. Berea was able to maintain the lead for most
of the second half and in the end defeated the Royals 97-91.
At half time Johnson University lead Berea 43-40. Freshman Hadyn Roe led the first half with 15
points and 3 rebounds. Dyonta Brown added 8 points 4 rebounds in the first half as well. Berea
shot 39 percent from the field and committed 7 turnovers in the first half.
It was a good offensive game for the Mountaineers as they took the lead in the second half
shooting 61 percent from the field. Freshman Hadyn Roe Led the Mountaineers with 26 points
and 6 rebounds. Freshman Torell Carter also scored 22 points with 13 rebounds and 8 assists.
The men will be back in action at home on November the 28th at 7:00 P.M. where they will take
on Boyce College.
