Lookout Mountain, GA- The men's basketball team traveled to Covenant College for their conference opener this weekend. The Mountaineers were not successful losing to the Scots 93-64. This loss puts the Mountaineers at 0-1 in conference play and 3-1 overall.
Berea played a strong first half and only trailed the Scots by 3 heading into the second half. The scots outscored Berea 57-31 in the second half to run away with the 93-64 win. Berea had three players that scored in the double digits. Torell Carter led Berea with 17 points followed by Travis Roe with 14 and Dakota Mays with 10. The Mountaineers struggled from the field only shooting 35.4% compared to the Scots 51.7.
The men will be heading to Kentucky Christian on December the 7th where they will take on the Knights at 7:00 P.M.
