Berea, KY- The men's basketball team welcomed Brevard College to the Seabury Center on January 14, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. for their seventh home game this season. Berea was not able to gain a lead in the first half and in the end fell to the Monarchs in overtime 76-61. The Mountaineers' record for this season is now 4-10.
At half time Methodist led Berea 34-28. Gabe Hinton led the first half with 6 points and 3 rebounds. Terique Miller also added 4 points and one assist in the first half as well. Berea shot 40 percent from the field and committed 7 turnovers in the first half.
Berea was not able to take the lead in the second half and fell to the Monarchs. They shot 36 percent in free-throws. Dyonta Bizzle Brown led the Mountaineers with a total of 10 points and 3 rebounds. Gabe Hinton also led with a total of 8 points and 10 rebounds.
The men will be travelling to Midway University on Tuesday January 16th where that will take on the Eagles at 7:00 P.M.
