Mountaineers Shooting Too Much For Panthers

Berea, KY- The men's basketball team welcomed Ferrum College to the Seabury Center on January 20, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. for their eighth home game this season. In the end the Mountaineers defeated the Panthers with a final score of 86-73. The Mountaineers overall record for this season is now 5-10 and 2-6 in conference play.

At half time Berea led Ferrum 48-24. Terique Miller led the first half with 19 points 2 assists and 6 rebounds. Dyonta Bizzle Brown also added 12 points and 2 rebounds in the first half as well. Berea shot 58 percent from the field and committed 8 turnovers in the first half.

The Mountaineers remained in the lead throughout the second half and defeated the Panthers. Overall, Berea shot 56% percent in free-throws. Terique Miller led the Mountaineers with 29 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds. This was Miller's highest scoring game this season. Torell Carter also led with a total of 19 points, 5 assists and 8 rebounds.

On January the 21st the Mountaineers will be playing Averett at home at 2:00 P.M.
