Berea, Ky- The Berea College men's basketball team welcomed Lagrange College to the Seabury Center on February 17, 2018. Overall, the Mountaineers could not take the lead and lost to the Panthers 83-57. This brings the Mountaineers record to 7-16 overall and 3-12 in conference play.
At half time Lagrange led Berea 31-45. Chris Spratling and Dyonta Bizzle Brown led the first half with 8 points each. Hadyn Roe also led with 5 points and 2 rebounds. Berea shot 35 percent from the field and committed 7 turnovers in the first half.
Berea was not able to pull ahead in the second half and fell to the Panthers with a final score of 83-57. Dyonta Bizzle Brown led Berea with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Chris Spratling also had 9 points and 3 rebounds. Berea shot 38.8 percent from the field and committed 16 total turnovers.
The men will be back in action at home this Sunday the 18th where they will take on Huntingdon in a conference game at 1:00 P.M. This will also be senior day for two Mountaineers.
