Berea College got back in the win column defeating Piedmont College 65-64. The Mountaineers were led by a pair of freshmen, Andrew Doty and Isaac Caudill. Doty ended the game with 16 points and 6 rebounds and Caudill had 15 points and 5 rebounds. The Mountaineers are now 2-2 in conference.

The first half was a back in forth contest between the two teams, consisting of four lead changes in the half. However, Piedmont eventually took the lead into halftime, leading 32-29. The Lions were led by three scorers with 5 or more points. The Mountaineers were led by Sophomore Guard Torell Carter and Freshmen Guard Isaac Caudill, who had 12 and 9 points respectively.

The second half again was a back and forth battle between the Mountaineers and the Lions. However, behind Freshmen Andrew Doty's 16 points in the half, Berea College overcame the 3-point deficit to win the game 65-64.

The Mountaineers were led by Freshman Andrew Doty, Freshman Isaac Caudill, and Sophomore Torell Carter. Even with the sub-par shooting effort from the Mountaineers, 31.6% from the field, and 15.8% beyond the arc, the Mountaineers were able to defeat the Lions.

With this win, the Mountaineers match their win total from the previous year.
