Lookout Mt., GA-- Berea was at Covenant College for a hard fought basketball game.  Berea College and Covenant College stayed close during the whole game.  Berea was outscored in the first half by two, but in the second half, Berea was outscored by five.  The game ending with Berea College on the losing end with the score of Covenant College 74 and Berea College 67

1st Half Stats:

      Berea started the first half strong and continued their strong play throughout the first half.  Berea shot 48.0% from the floor with 57.1% from the three point line.  Free throw percentage was strong also, only missing one attempt out of seven.  The score for Berea was 34 at the half.  Torell Carter had 10 points with Mitchell Embry scoring 8 points.      In the second half, Covenant College played more defense on Torell Carter, which held him to two points in the whole half.  Mitchell Embry scored 11 points.  The field goal percentage and the three point shooting was almost the same for each team, but Berea College did better on the charity stripe.  Covenant College scored five more points than Berea College in this half. The bench of Covenant College outscored Berea College's bench by six points. 

Overall Stats:

      Berea College shot 44 percent from the field and 32 percent from beyond the three point line.  Berea had twelve turnovers compared to Covenant College's seven.  Berea was out rebounded by Covenant College by seven rebounds.  Berea's turnovers allowed Covenant College to score sixteen points.  The highest scorer from Berea was Mitchell Embree with nineteen points.

      Berea stats were all beeter in percentages than Covenant College.  The field goal percentage for Berea was 44.6%, the three point percentage was 32%, and free throw percentage was 83%.
