Berea Competing at Bill Sergent Fall Invitational

Austin Worley's 74 leads the Mountaineers.

Day 1 of the Bill Sergent Fall Invitational Golf Tournament hosted by the University of the Cumberlands at Crooked Creek Golf Community is in the books.  Sophomore Austin Worley carded a +2 74 to pace the Mountaineers, four strokes better than freshman Sung Min "Kevin" Kim.  Juniors Ben Piercefield and Trevor Humes each shot 89's and Derrick Lisaby added a 104 to round out the scoring. 

Worley's score has him tied for 7th; five shots off the lead set by Martin Jacobsson of the University of the Cumberlands.  Union College (KY)  leads the tournament, with Lindsey Wilson and Cumberlands rounding out the top three with five other  teams, including Berea, eager to provide a challenge in tomorrow's final round.
