Kim Defends Title in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- Kevin Kim shot an impressive 140 over the two day Dick Park Invitational at The Fort Golf Club in Indianapolis to win the tournament for the second year in a row.

Kim found himself six under par with only six holes to go on day one of the tournament, but found much trouble in the late going on the first day, ending up only one under par, and sitting one stroke back from the leader. The Mountaineers shot 327 on day one, placing them in fourth at the end of Sunday's Round.

Monday's shotgun start proved to be smoother than the previous round for Kim, as he shot his season low of 69 at the difficult course, giving him the overall lead in the tournament, and defending his title at the Dick Park Invitational. Kim's comeback also helped the Mountaineers shoot a 317 on day two, cementing their 4th place team finish in the tournament.

The golfers travel to Clarkesville, Georgia this coming Sunday, where they will play several of their new conference opponents in the Piedmont College Invitational.
