The Berea Men's Golf Team traveled down to Edinburgh, Indiana to play the Dick Park Invitational hosted by Franklin College. On the first day, The Mountaineers posted the best score so far in the season by shooting a 326, which was good enough for The Mountaineers to finish 3rd after round 1. The second day did not go as smooth as the first day, as Berea posted a higher score than they did in the first day and fell a spot to finish 4th overall.

The first day was led by Sophomore Michael Akard with a 77, the lowest score of his career by 8 strokes. That was followed with an 81 by Freshman Evan King, and an 83 by Sophomore Peyton Browning. Freshmen Isaiah Bolon and Senior Ryan Blevins rounded out the team with scores of 85 and 86 respectively. The Mountaineers shot 326, which set the season-low team score.

The second day was tough one for The Mountaineers as they failed to improve from their first-day score. Individual Jeremiah Bolon rebounded from a rough first round with an 83, Ryan Blevens bounced back from his first round with an 81, and Peyton Browning led the team with an 80. The rest of the team did not fare so well, as Michael Akard, Isaiah Bolon, and Evan King struggled and posted scores of 89, 95, and 85 respectively. The team shot 335 for the second day which saw them fall a spot on the leaderboards to 4th place.

The Berea Men's Golf Team will travel down to Demorest, Georgia, for the 13th Annual Piedmont Fall Invitational scheduled for October 1st and 2nd.
