            First Day

The day was a rough one for most of the Berea Mountaineers golf team. The lone bright spot of the day was Isaiah Bolon who came in with a 77 on the first day. The rest of the team followed with Ryan Blevins and Peyton Browning both shooting 84. Freshman Evan King came in with an 85, and Freshman Jeremiah Bolon shot a 86. Michael Akard and Zach Withers both shot 90. That resulted in a team score of 338 which left the Mountaineers in 7th place.

            Second Day

In the second day, the Mountaineers posted their season-low. Senior Ryan Blevins had a personal best round of 73. Two others followed him in the 70's as well, Freshmen Isaiah Bolon came in with a 75, and Sophomore Michael Akard bounced back well with 79. Peyton Browning also contributed to the final team score with an 81. Freshmen Evan King shot an 89, Freshmen Jeremiah Bolon shot a 94, and Junior Zach Withers shot a 98. That led to a team score of 322, which allowed the Mountaineers jump Bluffton University on the leaderboard to 6th place.

The golf team will be back in action as they take on Alice Lloyd College in the Annual Shovel Match at the Mountaineer's home, Battlefield golf course, on October 27th.
