The second round was a tough one for the Mountaineers. Michael Akard and Isaiah Bolon regressed after day 1, with Akard posting an 83 and I. Bolon posting 84. However, Freshman Dong Soo Lee led the Mountaineers for day 2, posting a career best in 77. Jeremiah Bolon and TR Nolen improved with J. Bolon posting 87 and TR Nolen firing an 89. Zach Withers grinded all day but the luck was not on his side as he posted a 104.

The Mountaineers were able to place two golfers in the top 15 in the tournament, the first achievement since the 2016-2017 season.

The Berea College Mountaineers started the first of four weekends in a row of golf tournaments. The next tournament will be the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic, hosted by DePauw University which starts on September 28th.
