Batavia, OH - The Men's soccer team traveled to Batavia, Ohio on October 7th to take on USCAA opponent University of Cincinnati Clermont College. This was Berea's 2nd USCAA game in the past week, in their last game the Mountaineers defeated Cleary 3-0. The Mountaineers were able to grab their 2nd USCAA win this week defeating UC-Clermont 6-0.
Leading the way for the Mountaineers was Jesse Massucco and Brad Camenisch with two goals each. Henok Kebede and Caleb Congrove were also able to score a goal each. Three of the six goals were assisted. Those assists were by Garrison Wagner, Pedro Herrera and Henok Kebede.
Berea put up 25 shots compared to the 9 shots put up by UC-Clermont. Jesse Massucco led the team in shots attempted with 6.
The Mountaineers will be back in action at home on October 10th at 3:00 PM. They will take on Warren Wilson College at the Berea College Sports Complex.
