Mountaineers Shut Out by Panthers

Hanover, IN - The men's soccer team traveled to Indiana to take on NCAA DIII's Hanover College.  The Mountaineers struggled last night in a 5-0 shutout loss to the Panthers.

The first half saw Hanover score 4 goals from three different players. The second half was a different story as Berea goalie Robby Vollrath would hold strong and only allow Hanover one goal. Vollrath would end the game with 8 saves.

It was an all Hanover affair as they had 25 shots to Berea's 4. Berea's four shots were spread between Caleb Congrove, Million Beshah, JD Nolte, and Christopher Malparti. The Panthers also had 12 corner kicks to the Mountaineers 2.

The loss brings the Mountaineer's record to 0-6-1. Berea will be back in action Saturday at home against Franklin College at 3:00PM.
