Berea lost a close one to NAIA member Kentucky Christian University falling 1-0 in Grayson.
It was an excellent game for Berea goalie Robby Vollrath in the first half as he recorded 4 saves in the scoreless period. The Mountaineers also spread the ball around offensively as 5 players contributed on six shots in the first period.
The second half was all Knights as they would score the lone goal of the contest and hold Berea to only 3 shots.
With the loss the Mountaineers fall to 0-8-2. Berea will hope to earn its first win of the season Monday when they face UC Clermont at home at 8:00PM.
