Men's Soccer Ties Cincinnati-Clermont 1-1 in Double Overtime

Berea, KY- The men's soccer team began a three game homestand, hosting the University of the Cincinnati-Clermont Cougars in the game at the Berea College Sports Complex.

Berea came out of the gates firing on all cylinders, using 10 shots in the first half attempting to score a goal. In the second half, the Berea defense continued its strong play as they held their 1-0 lead. The scoreboard changed to a 1-1 tie as the Cougars scored a goal in the 77th minute of the game. The last two offensive chances of regulation went to the Mountaineers, but neither shot fell into the net and the game went into extra time.
