Berea, KY -Berea lost a close one to NAIA member Midway University, falling 1-0 at home.
Midway was all over the place offensively in the first period as they took 7 shots to Berea's one, but both teams struggled to put it in the net. Mountaineer goalie Noah DeHart had an excellent first period tallying three saves to hold the Eagles scoreless.
In the second half Berea came alive offensively with six shots but it wasn't enough as Max Bristow of Midway would score the game's lone goal at 75:38.
With the loss the Mountaineers fall to 0-9-3. Berea will be back in action on a Senior Day doubleheader when they face Eureka. Women's game is set to start at 12:00pm and the men's at 2:00pm.
