Berea Loses Close Contest

BEREA, KY., -- The Berea College Men's Soccer Team lost Thursday against William Peace (North Carolina). The men played a great defensive game and but was unable to get a ball in the goal and as a result, William Peace was able to capitalize in one of their few chances to take the victory. Senior goalkeeper Noah DeHart played well between the posts with 7 saves in the game.

The Mountaineers played very solid defense all game, but was unable to put a shot on goal all game. The Mountaineers gave up a goal off of a rebound after Senior keeper Noah DeHart made an absolute beauty of a save. Playing behind the ball all game, the Mountaineers struggled to muster any offense and lost 1-0 to William Peace at home.

The Mountaineers will be back in action Saturday October 5th, as they will host conference rival Piedmont College.
