Berea, KY - Berea hosted USA South Conference Member Covenant College in a douleheader. Berea lost the first game of the double header to Covenant College 1-0. The Scots scored their lone run in the 3rd inning. The Mountaineers only had two hits in the game compaired to the Scots who had 9 hits. The Mountaineers two hits were from Setters and Shivel. Howard picked up the loss in the circle.
During the second game of the day the Mountaineers were beat by the Scots 15-6. The Scots were up 7 in the 3rd inning but the Mountaineers came back and earned 4 runs in the 3rd inning. The Scots pulled away as they had 12 hits during the game. The Mounaineers were led by Nash who had 2 hits, Hackney and Howard each had one hit. Howard took the loss in the circle.
The Mounaineers are back in action tomorrow when they play Huntington College in Berea.
