Women's Basketball Dominates Taylor 61-43

The good news for the Taylor University Trojans was that they held the lead twice on Saturday as they hosted the Berea College Mountaineers.  The bad news, those leads were at 2-0 and 4-6; as the rest of the day belong to the Blue Crew as they coasted to a 61-43 victory.

Berea was again led by Johnesha Warren who tossed in 23 points, while Alexus Calhoun tallied a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.  Rayveen Shead contributed 10 points off the bench.  BC used a stifling defensive effort to hold the Trojans to under 25% shooting from the field for the game by grabbing 16 steals and forcing 20 turnovers.

The Mountaineers will finally make their way home after six road contests when they host Centre College on Wednesday night in the Seabury Center at 7:30 pm.
