Women's Basketball Cruises Past Indiana University - Kokomo 86-77

The 9th ranked (USCAA) Berea College Women's Basketball team (5-5) enter their holiday break on a high note after they took down former KIAC rival Indiana University - Kokomo (3-7) 86-77 on the road on Saturday.

The Mountaineers were hot from the floor shooting 52% while putting four players in double figures led by Johnesha Warren's first double-double of the 2014-2015 season.  Warren deposited 24 points, going 9-11 from the field and perfect 6-6 from the free-throw line, while pulling down 10 rebounds.  Rayven Shead dropped in 22 points as the freshman forward has now scored 20+ points in three straight contests, and reached double figures in nine straight games.  Alexus Calhoun and Jamie Roberts pitched in with 14 and 10 points respectively.

The ladies now get to enjoy some time off for the holidays, before they return to the gym.  Their next game will be on Wednesday, January 7th when they travel to north to Batavia, Ohio and a match-up with USCAA foe Cincinnati-Clermont.
