Grayson, Ky- The women's basketball team hit the road this evening to take on the Knights of Kentucky Christian University. The Mountaineers ran away with a 76-45 win against the Knights to bring them to 6-2 for the season.
The Mountaineers went into the half with a 39-24 lead. Berea outscored KCU 19-7 in the fourth period to grab the 76-45 win. The Mountaineers had three players to score in the double digits. They were led by Adriana Williams with 17 followed by Zacchea Small with 12 and Kiley Bernard with 14. Williams was also credited with 6 steals. Bre Lanham and Savannah Fallis led Berea under the glass with 6 rebounds each.
The Mountaineers will be back in action at home on December 16th where they will take on USA South Conference member Agnes Scott, tip-off is scheduled for 2:00pm.
