Berea, KY- The women's basketball team welcomed Maryville College to the Seabury Center on February 6, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. for their final regular season home game this season. In the end the Mountaineers defeated the Scots with a final score of 87-74. Their overall record for this season is now 19-3 and 10-2 in the conference. This win puts the Mountaineers in first place in the USA South West Division.
At halftime, Berea led Maryville 48-39. Briana Lanham led the first half with 10 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. Jaime Roberts also added 6 points and 1 rebound in the first half as well. Berea shot 64 percent from the field and committed 6 turnovers in the first half.
The Mountaineers remained in the lead throughout the second half and defeated the Scots 87-74. Overall, Berea shot 50% percent from the field. The Mountaineers were led by Bri Lanham with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Adriana Williams also scored 17 points and 6 assists. Nakeisha Greene led the Mountaineers under the glass pulling in 17 total rebounds. Greene recorderd a double-double adding 15 points to her 17 rebounds.
The Mountaineers will be travelling to Huntingdon on Saturday February 10th where they will take on the Hawks at 3:00 P.M.
