Berea, KY. – The Berea College women's basketball bounced back, after a tough loss on Tuesday, in a big way by blowing out Pfeiffer 87-63 on homecoming night at the Seabury Center. Junior Briana Lanham fell one rebound short of a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds with five steals to lead the Mountaineers over the Falcons.

Lanham scored 16 of her 22 points in the first quarter alone to help Berea rack up 28 points during the 10 minute span. The Mountaineers' defense held Pfeiffer to seven points and a 13 percent shooting percentage in the first quarter. Berea kept their foot on the gas pedal throughout the rest of the first half as the Mountaineers went into the break with a 40-20 lead over the Falcons.

Berea continued to roll in the second half with a strong third quarter effort where the Mountaineers were able to stretch their lead to as many as 39 points. Every member of Mountaineer squad saw playing time and all but two of them found the bottom of the net. Kristin Barnes scored 17 points and Leah Parker added on 10 points of her own as the Mountaineers cruised to an 87-63 victory over the Pfeiffer Falcons.

Bailee Vanover finished with nine points, two steals, six assists and six boards, while Kelsey Tippitt grabbed eight rebounds, three steals and put up five points to round all the stat leaders for the Mountaineers.
