The Lady Mountaineers continued their winnings ways against St. Mary of the Woods College soundly defeating the Pomeroys 118-66. This was the 1st time all season where the Lady Mountaineers scored over 100 points, as well as this win being their 5th straight win.   

Both teams came out firing in the 1st quarter, scoring a combined 56 points. However, the Mountaineers more than doubled their opponent 39-17. The Mountaineers were led by Junior Guard Bethanie Williams, scoring 10 points and adding 5 rebounds.

The 2nd quarter was a slower quarter than the first, but still very high scoring. The Lady Mountaineers added onto their lead, outscoring The Pomeroys 21-15 in the quarter. The Lady Mountaineers ended the half leading St. Mary of the Woods 60-32.

The Lady Mountaineers were carried in the 3rd quarter behind Junior Nakeisha Greene's 8 points and 7 rebounds. The Lady Mountaineers outrebounded the Pomeroys 17 to 7 in this quarter and outscored them 25 to 19 to extend their lead by 34.

Berea continued to score at will, outscoring St. Mary of the Woods 33 to 15 in this quarter. Led by Freshman Leah Parker with her 9 points in the quarter. The Mountaineers shot 78.9% beyond the arc and 70.8% from the field in the final quarter. The Mountaineers easily defeated the Pomeroys 118-66.  

The Lady Mountaineers were led by Nakeisha Greene's 16 points and 15 rebounds, her best performance of the season so far. Briana Lanham continued her impressive start to the season adding on 17 points and 5 rebounds. The Lady Mountaineers ended the game shooting 47.7% from the field and 40% beyond the arc.

The Lady Mountaineers have now won 5 straight going into their 2-week break.

Next game for the Mountaineers will be January 2nd against Brevard College Tornados.
