Berea, KY- The women's basketball team hosted opponent Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg Wednesday evening. The Mountaineers were victorious in a complete effort game. The final score was 84-52, and Berea improved their record to (18-4) (13-1), their 8th straight victory.

The Mountaineers started the game slow. The Tigers held Berea to only 8 points, but could only capture a 2 point advantage, leading after 1 quarter, 10-8. Berea picked up their feet, and responded with a very impressive span of offensive possessions. Savannah Fallis came off the bench and provided a huge spark. She was 7-9 from the floor, and an impressive 3-4 from deep.

Juniors Bethany Williams, and Briana Lanham only combined for 18 with each scoring 9 points. Everyone got a piece of the scoring action, and the two double-digit scores came off the pine. Leah Parker had 11 and Savannah Fallis finished with 18. All the production added up to 84 points, and proved to be the force behind the victory.

As a team the Mountaineers connected for 45% shooting, 34 makes on 75 attempts. From deep, Berea shot 24% on 6 of 25. And from the charity stripe, an impressive 83%.

The home victory for the Mountaineers improves their record to (18-4), and their home record remains a perfect (9-0). Berea will look towards another home victory Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm, in a conference match up against Brevard College at the Seabury center.
