Berea, KY - The Berea College women's tennis team ended the fall season at home last night against the Oakland City Oaks. The seniors on the team this year include, Christine Gilbert Crawford, Kristol Whitt, Cheyenne Guin and Ashley Logan. The Mountaineers were able to get the 9-0 win on senior night.
Taylor Moyers was back in the lineup for the Mountaineers as the #1 seed and was able to grab the 6-0 win. After singles Berea was up 5-0 against the Oaks. Berea was able to sweep doubles play as well leading to the 9-0 win. The Berea Seniors were all able to close their fall season with a win.
"It was great to send the seniors off with a good win," said head Coach Montgomery. "Everyone stepped up and played well, especially the seniors Christine, Kristol, Ashley (Logan), and Cheyenne." "I'm so proud of these girls. Each one bought something different to the table and they were the glue of the team."
