Ada, OH/Oakland City, IN— The Berea College women's tennis team took to the road this weekend to take on Ohio Northern Polar Bears and the Mighty Oaks of Oakland City. In the first match up Berea College competed against Ohio Northern University on Friday evening at the Lindner Family Tennis Center. Northern Ohio University won No. 2 and 3 singles, and Berea won No. 1 (Taylor Moyers) singles and No. 1 doubles (Moyers/Whitt). IN the end Ohio Northern defeated the Mountaineers 5-2
Next the Mountianeers traveled to Oakland City, IN to take on the Mighty Oaks of Oakland City. Tayloe Moyers, Christine Gilbert-Crawford, Kristol Whitt and Ashley Logan all pick up the singles win and the doubles team of Logan and Gilbert-Crawford were also able to get the win. With those impressive performances the Mountaineers were able to get the 8-1 win over the Mighty Oaks.
The Berea College women's tennis team will play their final match on Saturday April 16, 2016 against Oakland City University.
